Love Guides My Hands
These three paintings are an example of art therapy and how to see life for what it was but then change it and colour your memories as you wish. Art therapy is a very powerful tool.
F. Magdalene Austin
As your child I had no power at all.
My hands were so small.

Look at me now
Hands large with purpose

And arms wide open ready to accept a miracle.

The first two paintings were done in acrylic and colored pencil. I used a sponge for most of it then a brush for details. The third image is mostly digital. What I did was paint the original memory then I painted it how I felt it should be. I mostly felt afraid and overwhelmed when creating the first piece but I was inspired and motivated by the time I did the last one.
